Research

Her research interests include

– Hydrology, water quality and sediment transport monitoring, modelling and management of Intermittent and Ephemeral Streams (IRES), i.e. flash floods, nutrient pollution and Climate Change impact

– Operational hydrology, i.e. early flood warning system development for IRES, Flow Image Velocimetry using UAVs

– Artificial Aquifer Recharge with treated wastewater

– Coastal Zone Management (coastal aquifers protection, beaches resilience, marinas and ports environmental management)

– Scholars mentoring (ie refugee researchers)

Teaching

Αt the undergraduate level she teaches the modules Integrated Coastal Zone Management, Hydrology and Environmental Impact Assessement: Theory and Practice.

At the M.Sc. “Management of Coastal Areas” she teaches Coastal Geohazards and Coastal Resources management.
