Research

His research interests focus mainly on the study of atmospheric processes, air-sea interaction and climate change using Regional Numerical Weather Prediction Models and Geoinformatics.

Teaching

Undergraduate level: Introduction to Python Programming language · Geographic Information Systems · GIS applications in the marine environment · Calculus I & II.

Postgraduate level (MSc Integrated Coastal Management): Geo-informatics with applications in the coastal and marine environment.

Professional activities

He has participated in many national and international research projects and has offered his services as an external expert to the European Union and as a reviewer in research journals. He has published papers in international journals, scientific conferences and book chapters. He has considerable experience in management and is vice-president of the Association of Special and Laboratory Teaching Staff of the University of the Aegean.
